On the grind

This carp and chrysanthemum tattoo took 4 sessions of about 4-5 hours over the period of a year. His inner arm has a samurai head one more session and a complete half sleeve will be done.
Chest piece in progress, some hot angels are going to be placed on each side of this.
This is actually a very tiny tattoo, when i get a healed photo i going to put a quarter next to it for reference .

just clownin foo

So I was asked to make a tattoo of a clown. At first thought i wasn't that amped on drawing clowns. So after a little marinating in the brain and referencing some of the work of great tattooers like Chad Koeplinger and Tomas Garcia. This cool tattoo was born. And it also covered an old tattoo of the dudes own name (drunk mistakes in Vegas can come back to haunt you).
Here is the before photo, above the name is a tattoo I fixed up about a month ago.

Oregon Ink

Spent a weekend in Eugene, Oregon for a convention and got to make some sweet stuff.
This peacock tattoo went on a pregnant stripper. She didn't tell me until hours after I had tattooed her, I scolded her harshly, enough said. To top it off the photos I got of it blow.
This fancy owl tattoo was the highlight of my trip, I made this for the wife of Ross Carlson, an awesome tattooer out of Portland.

Its been a spell since I last posted some stuff, so here is what has been happening at the laboratory.
A little sacred heart remembrance tattoo.
Got to bust out this peony tattoo for this girl's birthday. Hope to continue this shoulder capper with more flowers and a background.
Dragon Carp tattoo. Simple color scheme finished in about 15 hours.
Awesome idea, this lady asked for wild flowers and calla lilies coming out of a snail shell. Had a lot of fun with it. Got to get a healed photo.

California fresh oranges. I always wanted an orange tattoo, glad I was able to make one for my friend Nicole.
